Projects and boards
Last updated 10 September 2026
Group conversations under a project and watch the work move across a kanban board. The board shows the run; it never drives it.
Projects
The Projects tab lists your named projects with their chat, activity and completion counts. Each project opens in its own tab with a board and a Projects breadcrumb. Chats, by contrast, is a plain feed of every conversation; there is no board view of Chats.
Putting work in a project
- Create a project with
+. Inside it,+ › New chatcreates a chat assigned to that project. It is saved straight into To do; creating a card does not run anything. Open it and send the task to start work. + › Add existing chatassigns a conversation from the feed. Moving a chat out of another project asks you to confirm.- Removing a chat from a project removes only its membership. The conversation and its work stay in Chats.
Columns
| Column | What lands here |

| In progress | Runs that are executing right now. Set by the run, not by dragging. |
| Needs input | Runs waiting on an approval or a question. Set by the run, not by dragging. |
| In review | Completed work waiting for you to look at it. |
| Blocked | Failures. |
| Cancelled | Runs you stopped. |
| Backlog and Done | Labels you manage yourself. |
Working the board
- Click a card to open that conversation in a tab. Other chats keep running.
- Drag idle chats between columns, or right-click for Move to, Rename and Priority.
- Filter by runtime or priority, or search the project's chats. The active-run chip counts runs in the filtered set, including queued work and approvals.
- Show all chats clears the project's filters and reveals every column.
- Marking work Done clears its review from Inbox. Opening a review in Inbox acknowledges the notification but does not mark the work Done.
