Routines

Routines are scheduled work Ghillie does on its own: the morning briefing, digests, and anything else you want run at a set time.
How a routine runs
A routine is an immutable, versioned piece of work with a schedule. Each time it fires, scheduled or by hand, it creates an occurrence that runs the same routine version under the same database lease. A unique key per day means a routine cannot run twice by accident.
The morning briefing
Ghillie ships with a daily-briefing routine set for 07:00 Europe/London. It starts in shadow delivery mode, which means it runs and records its output but does not send it anywhere until you switch delivery on. That lets you read a few mornings' worth before you trust it to interrupt you.
/briefing run the current briefing version now
/routines schedule, delivery mode and the latest occurrenceDelivery
Routine output, call recaps and results from remote devices go through one durable delivery queue. Whichever Mac currently holds the Telegram route claims the queue, so a briefing is delivered once even when Ghillie is running on two machines.
Digests and hand-offs
Email digests and hand-offs follow the same shape: a scheduled read of your mail, a summary you can act on from the message itself, and a record of every action you took from it.
